Though a relatively small college in Maryland, Salisbury University is home to a large and unique body of students aspiring to start their professional lives. The institution has various clubs and extraciriculars which students use to explore their interests.
The Political Communications Club (PCC) was established in early 2024 to engage students in politics and give members of the community an opportunity to gain hands-on, resourceful experience. The Covid-19 lockdown dampened many of the political organizations on campus, making political and general apathy an all too common theme on campus.
To give members of the PCC a platform to write about political ongoings and other such things, both on campus and on a broader scale, The Bury Post has been established as an independent news site. Media is a major part of communication and the things PCC members focus on, which is why we decided to create this news site.
The intention of The Bury Post is to fuel student journalism on campus, provide our community with a platform to express themselves in a concise and factual manner, and to offer readers high-quality content.
