What? That sounds a bit “racist.”

Unfortunately, that is the mindset which millions of Marylanders have been taught to hold when the notion of promoting white interests is touched upon. 

The mere idea that those of European-descent are a legitimate group which ought to advocate for their own preservation at a state level, and as a matter of course promote their interests, is uncomfortable for many, especially white folks themselves. 

We have been indoctrinated into believing that any form of racial pride or racial advocacy for those of European-descent is a form of white supremacy. This is simply untrue. 

We have come to a point in Maryland that requires us to break through this prison of uncomfortability, caution and fear that leftist forces have enclosed us in over the course of several decades. 

The corrosive belief system which demands that we allow other racial groups to advocate for their interests and demographic expansion in the state, while white people willingly bow down and forfeit everything, must end. 

Let me explain why this is such an urgent priority. Why now?

Major Demographic Change

Maryland is defined as one of the most racially diverse states in America. With a population exceeding 6,200,000 people, about 46% of the population is White, 30% Black, 12% Hispanic, and 7% Asian. These are the largest racial groups in the state. 

This is quite a shift from 1990, less than 40 years ago, in which 71% of residents were white and about 25% black, constituting the two major racial groups, as had been the case for centuries. 

It is clear that mass migration from non-European countries has been the major cause of large scale demographic change

As of 2023, the foreign born population in Maryland was 16.1%. 992,000 people were newcomers, out of a population of approximately 6 million. In the same year, about 20% of households, not just individuals, households, were primarily non-English speaking. 

Compare this to 1990– only 8.3% of residents (to be distinguished from households) primarily spoke a non-English speaking language at home. In 1990, approximately 122,000 individuals primarily spoke Spanish in their homes. 

In 2023, nearly 550,000 households were primarily Spanish-speaking.

As these statistics suggest, major demographic change is undoubtedly correlated with major sociocultural change. If we can agree that, at the bare minimum, the United States is an English speaking country, and that immigrants ought to assimilate, learn our language, and practice this language in everyday life, it is clear that the huge demographic shifts in Maryland are not beneficial. 

The Birth Rate Crisis

In addition to the foreigners flooding into the state, immigrants who are already in the country are having far more babies than white people. 

In 2023, there were 65,594 live births in the state of Maryland. About 21% of these births were from hispanics, who made up about 12% of the population, and 40% of the births were from whites, who constituted 46% of the population. 

Despite being about a tenth (1/10) of the population, Hispanics had a fifth (⅕) of the babies born. 

A Maryland Matters article published in 2025 described how a “boom” in the Asian and Hispanic population was helping to counteract the “loss in other groups.” 

“In Maryland, population gains among Hispanics (32,646) and Asians (12,016) were augmented by increases in the Black population (14,224) to more than offset a drop in the white population of 17,580, for an overall one-year population gain of 46,158,” Tim Henderson stated in the article. 

The media tells us not to worry– after all, the population increase among other racial groups is more than offsetting the massive decline of the white population. Nothing to worry about here, folks!

Further, from 2023–2024, an annual white population decline of 0.6% – 0.8% was reported. In the same period, an annual hispanic population incline of 4.1% was reported. 

At this rate, the continual influx of foreign migrants and the “boom” of other racial groups juxtaposed with the decline of white birth rates will, within the next two decades, lead to whites in Maryland becoming a minority, and potentially a superminority. 

Snarky leftists may say, “well, then go back to Europe, to your homeland!” These trends are just as bad, if not worse, across the European continent. 

Sanctuary Policies Expediting the Process

Maryland’s sanctuary policies and the politicians who advocate for the protection of illegal aliens has certainly fueled these massive demographic shifts and the changing nature of the Maryland populace. 

Martin O’Malley, who served as Governor of Maryland from 2007 to 2015, was a huge proponent of mass migration, and supported legislation that protected “New Marylanders,” as he referred to foreigners, many of whom were illegal. 

O’Malley ordered state-run detention centers to stop honoring ICE detainers, which simply kept an arrested illegal criminal in custody for an additional 48 hours until ICE could come and detain them. 

Under O’Malley’s leadership, many jurisdictions in counties like Montogomery, Prince George’s, Baltimore, etc, became sanctuary jurisdictions, in which illegal aliens enjoyed enhanced protections from being sent back to their home countries. 

Over the past few months, Maryland Democratic leadership has taken big steps to further curb immigration enforcement policies. On Feb. 17, Governor Wes Moore signed legislation banning 287(g) agreements – which allowed for local law enforcement and federal ICE officials to coordinate together – in all counties. 

In response to claims from Maryland Sheriffs who have expressed their intent to continue working with federal immigration enforcement in an unofficial capacity, the Maryland Democrats are now preparing to implement the “Trust Act.” 

This law would prevent local law enforcement from inquiring about immigration status, from ever notifying ICE about the detainment of undocumented aliens, and would further protect illegal immigrants on government property (schools, courthouses, etc). 

Maryland Democrats are hell-bent on stifling the enforcement of immigration laws because they wish to reap the rewards of mass, unchecked migration: major demographic change that will increase their political power. They want more Democratic voters, at the expense of all heritage Marylanders.

All The Groups Have Advocates… Except Whites

Although the mass migration and sanctuary policies pushed by Maryland Democrats will, without doubt, hurt citizens of all racial groups, all other racial groups have advocacy groups looking out for them.

The Maryland Black Legislative Caucus is the most obvious example. This is the largest black legislative caucus in the entire nation, and they wield a considerable deal of power in state politics because they are well-organized and employ their demographic statistics (30% of the state population) very well. 

The Maryland Black Caucus analyzes all bills which could affect the black populace in Maryland. They advocate on behalf of black business owners and other such interests throughout the state. Their niche is the black community in Maryland. 

There is also a Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus that does the same, but for hispanic residents; there is also a Maryland Immigrant Rights Coalition, which aims to protect as many illegal immigrants in the state as possible, let in more immigrants, and to solidify their presence in Maryland. 

The Maryland Legislative Asian-American and Pacific Islander Caucus pushes for legislation and policies that can benefit the Asian population. 

Whites are the only group for whom such advocacy groups are not allowed. Many people say, that’s because we’re a majority!

Firstly, we won’t be a majority for much longer. Should we wait to organize and advocate for our interests until we become an oppressed, persecuted superminority in the state? Would it not be prudent to start now, since the direction we’re headed in is clear?

Secondly, why is it that a majority group shouldn’t look out for their own interests? In other countries, racial majorities effectively coordinate among themselves so as to maintain their presence in the country, retain their culture & language, and advance their collective goals. In Western Society, it is only those of European-descent who are chastised for doing so. 

Ultimately, it is not in the best interests for white Marylanders to have our communities overcrowded by third world foreign immigrants who do not share our American culture, our customs, nor our language. This is detrimental for all heritage Marylanders; however, whites are the only group that are seemingly unable to organize together for our futures, which are at stake. 

Is Race a Factor?

For over a decade, white people have been demonized for “white privilege,” for being racists, white supremacists, and called inherently evil by popular culture, by the media, and by political leaders. 

It has been suggested that whites pay more in taxes for public projects, that we give up the land our ancestors “stole,” that we fund reparations, and more. This rhetoric, combined with minority status, would not fare well for us at all. 

Jared Taylor, a public figure and publisher who has been articulating this message since the 1990s, has been deemed as a white supremacist and is one of the most censored men in the United States. 

Society has labeled people like Taylor – who argue that white people should be able to organize advocacy groups and have pride for their race in the same way that all other ethnicities are allowed to do – as radical extremists whose “reprehensible” views ought to never be heard. 

So much for equality. 

For those who claim that race isn’t a factor at all and should be totally overlooked, are you and your descendants prepared to be a superminority in a state controlled by leftists, who hate whites? I’m certainly not willing to let that happen. 

Further, a vast majority of foreigners and their children are Democratic voters. Whites tend to be the most politically variant race (53% R vs. 41% D, whereas other racial groups tend to be disproportionately Democrat on average); if whites become a superminority throughout the entire state, far-left Democrats will have full reign to control every corner of the state. 

We need to push harder for white interests before it is too late. 

Working Together

I am not suggesting the exclusion of other racial groups– of course not. I fully support groups like the Maryland Black Republican Council, the Maryland GOP Hispanic Outreach Committee, among other initiatives that aim to expand our tent and succeed as a party. The values which the GOP upholds and the patriotic ideals we fight for is beneficial for all racial groups, without a doubt. 

However, how can we claim that “race doesn’t matter” while also actively working to expand the tent and reach out to other racial and ethnic groups? It clearly is a factor, and we ought to be honest about that. I’m certainly willing to do so, because it’s essential. 

Thus, we need to welcome white advocacy into the tent of the Maryland GOP. The white population in Maryland, which is dwindling at an alarming rate, must know that we are dead serious about pushing for their interests at the municipal, county, and state levels of government. 

Democrats will not do this because the left is inherently anti-white and pro mass migration. Their long-term bet is to flood Maryland with as many foreign born citizens as possible and for those individuals and their children to serve as a loyal Democrat voter base that will secure their power, indefinitely. 

By explicitly advocating for the interests of whites in Maryland, we will increase voter-turnout among white Republicans and, at the same time, bring white Independents and Democrats into the GOP. However, if we wait until whites are 20% of the population to do this, it won’t matter. We will be finished. 

That day is fast approaching. Action is needed now.
